How does email validation work?
Each email goes through syntax checking, DNS MX record lookup, SMTP handshake (without sending), and disposable-domain detection. Records are categorized as valid, risky, invalid, role-based, disposable, catch-all, or unknown. Only valid records consume credits.
What file formats can I upload?
CSV and JSON are supported. CSV must include a header row with an email column named email, work_email, or contact_email. Maximum file size is 100 MB (up to 500k rows).
What's the difference between a credit and a lead?
A credit is consumed when a contact record passes the full enrichment pipeline and is output as a qualified lead. Duplicates, invalid emails, and records that fail quality thresholds do not consume credits.
